Oooh! Henry

Continuing the intermittent theme of places of worship, here is the magnificent King"s College Chapel in Cambridge.

This evening I am back on the banks of the Cam. It is difficult to take a bad picture of this building.

The congregation is just leaving after evensong. With dusk approaching and sun about to set, taking a snap from the"Backs" is very easy and really, in my case this evening, a bit lazy.

It took a hundred years to complete: initiated by Henry Vi, the work was accelerated by Henry VII and finished with an inevitable flourish by Henry VIII.
