Saturday 30 April 2011: Wild Blue Yonder @bbc_springwatch
Rebecca and I went for a great circular walk today. Starting at Low Hall Road, just off the A6120 Ring Road, we walked to the River Aire and followed its northern bank to Apperley Bridge. There we crossed over to the Canal and followed the towpath back. At about five miles it was a great leg stretcher on such a warm and sunny day.
The blue sky reflected on the water. Bluebells and wild garlic covered the sides of the route. Chiffchaffs sang, whilst Swallows and Sand Martins darted across the fields catching flies.
Whilst this blip gives you a flavour, you can see more HERE.
A walk we will certainly do again.
