Saturday 30 April 2011: Just Like Grandad
I took lots of photos of Lucinda on her own today but thought I'd post this one with her Grandad. She wanted up on the chair to be just like him. What are they like with those hats on!
Husband was away overnight last night and returned tonight just in time to tell Lucinda about his day hillwaking. That put her to sleep within 5 minutes. Poor Husband, I hope he got to the end. She really was very pleased to see him return.
Grannie and Grandad paid us a visit this morning and ended up having lunch with us and spending time in the garden. Dad not feeling well still. A sit down, some sunshine and his doting grand daughter cheered him up though.
Thought I'd document some of Lucinda's antics over the past couple of days:
She has discovered that Daddy's laptop bag makes a good trampoline
She has discovered the shredder machine and it is of great interest (I hope she doesn't start putting CDs in there!)
A couple of soft toys have been given kisses (usually they are thrown away in disgust)
The Peek-a-boo Shower Curtain Game is most fun
She can say "Go on, go on, go on" in Mrs Doyle fashion - Husband thinks this is the greatest thing ever. Big Father Ted fan that he is.
