A perfectly perfect Saturday (well minus the large amounts of unruly wind a.k.a. sunshine).

A family breakfast of pancakes laden with syrup.

A drive downtown to the furniture store. Our mattress is still under warranty and is killing our backs. So we made a fair swap for a brand new mattress. I'm very excited.

I took the boys to a small park near our home, where they played for a bit. They noticed a garbage truck across from us, so we headed over to find out that they'd take all of our garbage for canned food donations. The boys and I headed home to get the truck, fill it full of garbage bags and then back to the clean up. The gentleman was great and let the boys sit in the giant garbage truck and even pull the horn.

Later while they were napping, I did a bit of Spring cleaning to make room for our new furniture. You can't visit a furniture store without a little extra. So it's a lovely couch, an ottoman (with a twin hide-a-bed inside), and a dining room table set. Beautiful stuff all set to arrive on May 31st.

We've got a lot of work to do before it arrives, so we'll be busy.

I took this image while laying in the grass. It was the last image I took before the battery went kaput. Love the sun flare.
