Saturday 30 April 2011: Mary at Makuzi
Our visit to to Makuzi beach is always a highlight of our visits to Malawi.
This is a little bit of Heaven amidst all the turmoil; a small beach inlet on the lake. It adjoins a little fishing village, has thatched cabins on the beach and is idyllic.
Most of our day yesterday was unfortunately spent with our solicitors, so we arrived very late and really missed the day and had to leave at 3pm today.
In between it was relaxing if short.
The pic shows Mary in candle and tilly light, surveying the sticky toffee pudding. The table is on the edge of the lake with the waves (yes waves on a lake) tumbling in.
Romantic or what?
By the way this is our treat to ourselves so we pay for it, no donor money used!!!
