Tuesday 3 May 2011: Squirly whirly
Tonight was our first Spanish class at work and now my head is reeling with Spanish phrases. I now know that oft-quoted "cerveza", for example, is ser-bay-tha. V is B - what a revelation!
Anyway - what's that got to do with this rather fabulous interior of a building? This is the Ashley Building at the University, across the way from the one we were in for our class. It's a really incredible building - totally ugly from the outside (see here) but unique on the inside, and from above, a snail shell which I have previously blipped.
