Tuesday 3 May 2011: Home Again
Up bright and early this morning - the sun was shining at 6am & continued to shine every minute of the day. The ferry company to the mainland was celebrating its 10th birthday so we got a free drink & bacon sarnie and a voucher for a free crossing.
Had to fit in a few extra stops for the dogs as it was thirsty work for them! I took my turn driving - for at least an hour anyway.
Photo is of an oil rig under construction in the Cromarty Firth. There is actaully snow on the mountains behind. I stop & take photos each time we pass but haven't blipped one before.
Arrived home just after 6pm. Nothing remotely edible left in the fridge so we just had to eat out. Son No 2 still here - having second thoughts about returning to Majorca (just when I had got used to the idea)
All plants alive and healthy - thankyou Mr & Mrs Hosepipe x
