Saturday 30 April 2011: Pick me!

This morning we drove out to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm for the annual Tulip Fest. Hubby and I were up here a few weeks ago for the PacNW Blipmeet. They extended the festival this year due to a colder spring and delay in the flowers opening up.

Hubby dropped me off for a few hours and he did some geacaching in the area. I had a great time and the weather was good.

I picked this photo because it just made me smile. It stood above the rest of the flowers and caught my eye. I've yet to go through all the images I took today.

Later in the afternoon, we went to Portland and visited with my step-daughter and her hubby. We tried a new restaurant called Dick's Kitchen that served healthy diner food. It was great! They had vegan, gluten-free and meat options so everyone was covered!
