Wednesday 4 May 2011: Workman Series
I have been doing a little series on workman in the area. I have never once had a scaffolder agree to be photographed. So much so that I had stopped asking. Today I saw two very handsome lads working outside the tube station. The sun was shinning and they were having such a laugh that I thought I'd take a chance. The first lad said no but suggested I wait for Lee, the second lad said yes but also suggested I wait for Lee. "Wait for Lee' he said 'he'll love it. You'll love it too.' Around the corner came a giant, strapping, grinning six foot four Lee. 'You go ahead love, you want me to take out me guns?" And he did.
I am glad I waited for Lee.
