Kinda Horrigans

Wednesday 4 May 2011: HELLO PANCAKE HEAD!!!!!

432/365: ... has just been yelled in my ear after Felix clocked that I'd taken this photo.

So, now I'm suffering from third degree (does deafness even come in degrees???) deafness and brain fade while the ringing stops.

This isn't actually a pancake either. Which is why Felix found it funny to yell that it was. Five year olds have no sense of humour. And no volume control. Anyway, this is what happens when said humourless five year olds have veggie chilli and tortilla for dinner... and get bored at the end of the meal. They wear it. And then they bite holes in it to make a Friday the 13th-style mask and cackle madly about it all.

I've also resisted the temptation to 'fix' Felix's teeth in this shot. He has grim looking teeth. Chipped where he damaged his first tooth aged 10 months by running off the decking and landing face first in the garden. And stained because... well... they always have been like that. Ugly but fine. Picture perfect he ain't. :o)

Rightie ho. What else today? Not a lot. Early start, lots o' meetings. Assessed a portfolio, marked some assignments. Did a bit of planning. Sat in traffic. Got home. Dinner outside. Put some wires up to support the clematis and honeysuckle. Spot o' weeding. Then photo faffing. And that's about me done today.

And flippin' heck am I tired.

PS There's a feature on the radio at about 7-ish in the morning called 'Tracks that take you back' where they play a song which reminds someone about something from their past which I listen to as I'm driving.
PPS I have cried at the songs for the past two days. Buddy Holly yesterday and Doris Day today.
PPPS I am a lost cause!
PPPPS If you see a woman in her car heading from Nottingham to Sheffield... by the time she reaches Chesterfield, she'll be blubbing. It makes great telly. Follow her. :o)
