Wednesday 4 May 2011: Fly guy
I had a chat with the helicopter pilot who is flying the film crew around the country for the upcoming 3D TV extravaganza. Unfortunately I don't think they will be getting any footage of hang gliding over the Malverns. The weather is going to be shite on Sunday - so it's no go.
I took some shots of spiders, wasps, hornets and flies this evening. It's always the flies I come back to. Close-up they are fascinating and intricate works of art.
Miss Scarlet thinks I'm mad. Like she's not obsessive about anything...
