The Raasay ferry approaches Sconcer

As I was driving home from a meeting at the Clan Donald Centre I saw that the ferry was just departing from the new terminal on Raasay. So near the golf course I parked the van and walked across the main road and a rough grazing area to a fence where I could rest the camera on a fence post. I then waited for the ferry to cross my field of view so that I could take some pictures. Of the eight or ten I took I selected this one to crop and ajust to upload.

As you can see, our spell of hot sunny weather has drawn to a close. But we need some rain anyway so it is a blessing in disguise.
