Friday 6 May 2011: The Old Markets

So, what are you looking at? Well, this is an old 'oven' in The Old Markets. Restored by the new owners, and will be part of an amazing boutique hotel on Symi. The circular oven room has been preserved as it is, and will form part of the hotel, with the addition of the little circular windows you see here

The Old Markets has been classed as a national Greek monument, so nice to see what was a ruin brought back to it's glory. It's going to be something special.
