Saturday 7 May 2011: A bridge too far.
geocaching with the familt today.
we found one and couldnt find another.
the did not find was a 3 star difficulty so there is no shame in not finding it but will remain a challenge for another day.
we took a an unknown route home and ended up dead ended at this ramshackle bridge.
michael made it across.
carol made it across with a whine and a greeet.
abbie got to this point and froze..
so i had to wade through the burn with cleo and hold abbies arm to allow her to balance across the strong part of the bridge..
carol was a bit miffed that i wasnt so gallant earlier when she crossed over but hey im not perfect!!!
weathers clammy here today but dry.
