Mirrorball and clematis

The most appalling day - torrential occasionally horizontal rain, strong winds and humid. No chance of getting out so a quick run down to Nirvana (shed by the pond) was all that was managed. This is the view from the little verandah that you're meant to admire whilst sipping your gin and tonic in the early evening sunlight. Well, it provided a little shelter. Everything is looking very green you have to admit. The clematis is pretty and the mirrorball was one of the many that once graced son number 2's bedroom. He left them behind when he went off to uni and we nicked them. There are several dotted around the garden.

Tomorrow, weather permitting, we have to put nets over our beautiful fruit cage. The netting is purchased from a neighbour and himself has braved the weather and gone off to Skibbereen looking for suitable things to join net together.

Some cards are now going into second edition!! And we are amassing a summer collection. We are trying a local printer this time as the last one was a lot of hassle, so I'm just waiting for the proofs. They can now be viewed here if you're interested .
