Sgwarnog: In the Field

Allium Field

I spent the afternoon traipsing the village with 3yo, including a good spell in Hallcliffe Community Garden, Baildon. This is a lovely quiet spot in the centre of the village that provides a mellow alternative to the sqeals of the playground, but still has lots of exciting paths, wooden sculptures and willow tunnels for yound and old to enjoy.

It's probably approaching its peak in terms of floral display, and it was this striking display of Alliums that caught my eye as we were leaving. They look stunning as a group, and are rewarding in close up too.

This is my third blip of the day following two back blips from my trip to Glasgow. I'm just about blipped out.
