Wednesday 27 April 2011: Suineabhal
The windy weather continues but who cares when temperatures are in the low twenties and you are walking under a beautiful blue sky?
A shorter day today after our efforts of yesterday.
The island in the middle distance is Taransay, scene of the BBC Castaway programme of perhaps ten years ago. There is a lovely wee bothy on the island which unfortunately is now out of bounds as the island owner has no problem letting out his newly refurbished holiday cottages after the island hit fame on tv. Fair play to him - if people want to spend several hundred pounds for a week on an uninhabited island then good luck to him for milking it.
