Sunday 8 May 2011: Belhaven Bridge to nowhere...
Ok, so it was one of 2 shots tonight. This was the other possible shot, taken on top of the Falkirk Wheel earlier. Was only here for half an hour and this was actually the first shot I took. Loads of clouds about, all different colours and all moving fast. Perfect.
In total contrast, I took a trip down to Belhaven at Dunbar tonight to get this bridge at high tide. With a high enough tide the walkway gets covered and it looks like the bridge is just in the middle of nowhere, sadly the tide didn't get high enough to cover it but happy with this anyway as the conditions were challenging to say the least. Very bright, sun out, hardly any cloud cover, not perfect but very pleased with how this came out. Will be back again soon hoping for a higher tide.
Also stopped at Longniddry carpark 1 on the way back to get the boat wreck on the beach but ironically, the tide was too high still! Fun day, took only 14 shots but nearly an hour of exposure time between them all.
