Monday 9 May 2011: The American cemetery
We've had another busy day here. Mr M went off on his school residential trip first thing this morning and the others went off to school. My job was near my friend Lara's house so Lara said she would look after Miss E while I did my job. I finished quite early and joined them for lunch, and then a trip to the Madingley American Cemetery. It's a beautiful peaceful resting place for thousands of US troupes killed in the wars. I find these places sad, thinking that every cross represents someone's child... war, what a waste of life.
I've been feeling a bit blue today, just not 100%. Think I need an early night - maybe cuddle up and have some telly in bed. Its probably because I have been quite busy with work and I'm not used to it (a shock to the system!)
Just come back from the dentist, kerching. However, I got some polyfiller in the hole where my root fill broke the other day, so it feels more like a tooth rather than a hole! All our other teeth are well, including the children's which is good news. On the way home we had a McD's for tea, the children cleared the lot...they never waste a McD's!
