Arnside posts

A day of contrasts, it began brilliant blue and cloudless, followed by gathering clouds and lashing rain, then in the evening the cloud broke up to reveal dramatic skies.

The little posts have been blipped before, though not from this angle for a while. The Arnside viaduct in the background is closed and going through a major overhaul, much of it is clad in scaffolding, abd during daylight hours seven days a week there are big machines and men in fluorescent jackets and hard hats working on it. So not its usual photogenic self. Hence here it is wide-angled to a distant line.

On another note, does anyone know why Amalarian is not posting? Perhaps she is having computer or server problems, but I and many others would like to know. We all look forward to her daily postings from Tuscany, and the Spotlight page is not the same without her in prime position.
