This is Ashton, the youngest of the neighboring family's three boys.

It's quite possible that his impending arrival last summer was among the factors that had led them to offer to buy us out in early 2010 (we occupied the unit above them in the main condominium building). We accepted their offer, moved to a temporary apartment last September, and finally moved to our new rental house a week ago (which they constructed on a lot behind the original condominium).
