A New Fruit

Last Sunday I went to a BBQ and this fruit was there. It looks very odd, and is prickly like a cactus. The insides look half rotten, but was told to eat it. So I tried it and they are not bad at all!

I actually like this fruit and do not even know what to call it.

But I saw these in the store today and I had to buy them!

They are kinda tart, though some can be sweet. I cannot think of any other way to describe them. So if you know what these taste like, leave a comment below!
