Tuesday 10 May 2011: Innaffiatura dei fiori

A short ride to the hill town know as Gubbio brought us first to the funicular to the top of the mountain, above the city where the duoma is situated. A lunch on the hill of what else but pizza e ensalata. On the return, we meandered through the piazzas, ceramic shops and ended our time there with a gelato.

This lady ran one of the ceramic shops and was flattered that a took her picture watering the flowers in the beautiful ceramic pots.
