Tuesday 10 May 2011: Musical Challenge 9 - Boz Burrell

9th entry for the Musical May Challenge.

This memorial to Boz Burrell is in the Shore in Leith, although his connection with Leith, apparently, remains unclear. He was a Scottish musician, originally a vocalist but best known for his bass playing and work with rock bands King Crimson and Bad Company. After his departure from Bad Company, he worked with Scottish blues singer Tam White, whose memorial is next to his in the Shore as well. They played together at the Edinburgh Festival. Burrell died in 2006 and Tam White, a regular visitor to Leith, was with him when it happened. Tam White's last appearance in Leith was in the Cruz Bar, as part of the Leith Festival.

It doesn't get any better than this.....!

Now, changing the subject, for me it doesn't get any worse better than this on the shower saga front! Works are starting on Thursday eventually but they will have to do all the work from above. The neighbours downstairs are still not allowing any entrace to the workers. I can forsee a few issues, but I don't want to get involved. I just want to have my shower back and I hope it's sooner than later.

I had a nice and relaxing day off today. I went to the gym and pretty much relaxed for the rest of the day.

Back to work tomorrow and relocating to a friend's flat tomorrow evening for the duration of the bathroom works. I'll try my best to blip and comment.

Thanks very much for all your comments. I hope you all had a nice day! :)
