Tuesday 10 May 2011: Bouquet for Molly
This wasn't what I intended as today's blip but like so many others I was shocked and dismayed to hear earlier this evening of the death of Tuscany/Molly.
Many of her beautiful photographs were of flowers and I felt compelled to go and pick a bunch in her honour. The sun was setting in a burst of light after a rather chilly, cloudy day and the sudden illumination made a glorious finale.
Amalarian's comments were always positive, generous and pertinent and she seemed to spread them around so many journals like a warm embrace. She was particularly good at welcoming newcomers. She recently gave my son his first comment on his first blip and he was very chuffed.
She will be much missed. Goodbye Molly.
