Wednesday 11 May 2011: Crash landed
Was in Nelson today to do a few school things. had moderation to do, nipped into the Careers expo to get the feel for the main visit tomorrow, went into the museum to see if there is something worth the kids visiting. In between galivanting about I stopped off at the Monaco reserve (a bit of a park/viewing point to us Poms) While there I watched this plane take off and go round a bit. Airport is pretty close so was fairly low in the sky. A few minutes later this same plane was making an emergency landing back at the airport having reported trouble with the 'nose gear'. A full emergency operation was put in place and all was well.
