Wednesday 11 May 2011: Blossoms
We got word that the cherry blossoms were at their peak, so I left work early* to go see. It was warm and sunny, with a nice breeze and the orchard was a dazzling mess of bees and other happy insects. We walked up and down the hills, inhaling fresh air and a few unsuspecting bugs, listening to the birds being all chirrupy and full of spring fever.
I could have spend hours there.
I should have.
And for some reason I thought it was May 13th all day, so I dated everything accordingly. Crazy.
*I started early too, though.
