Desperately seeking

Growing Wild...

.... but I like it just as much as a lot of "garden flowers". Persicaria bistorta. I did used to have a smaller version which all the Gardening programmes used to rave about in the 80s. Apparently it's called Bistort from the Latin bis - twice: torta - twisted because of its roots. The Man spotted this clump not far from the house, pity it was windy and raining tonight.

It was a special Wednesday night out tonight. The four of us went out for a meal to celebrate Mrs kanyl's birthday and had a lovely meal in a small, nearby restaurant.

Then the internet wouldn't upload my blip! How frustrating, but thankfully let me (eventually) read and sent and important email.

More about that on Thursday ;-)
