Thursday 12 May 2011: Joseph Priestly
Stuck for time and a blip today I quickly snapped this statue of Joseph Priestly in Leeds today. I am uploading it this evening less than a mile from the college in Warrington that bears his name.
Not sure what he is doing here, hitting a mushroom with a table tennis bat perhaps or maybe he is trying to set fire to it with his magnifying glass. What do you think?
