Contact

Contact is a huge, month long photography show/exhibition that is put on all over the city of Toronto for the entire month of May every year. It's been going on for a few years now. It's very cool. Many, many galleries have special exhibitions. There are public installations all over the city (like this one). There are special seminars and openings and and and.

I spent a big chuck of today wandering around downtown to see what I could see. It was great. The weather was a little cool, perfect to avoid burning out!

I really liked this public installation. The juxtaposition of people walking by, active, but oblivious was great. And I loved that the biggest "energy" was coming from the static people, the photographs - the pedestrians were very nonchalant, almost passive.

[backblipped an image for yesterday, too]
