Friday 13 May 2011: Rainbow Flock

In the evenings lately, dozens of rainbow lorikeets have been flitting - very noisily - around the trees near the station. They swoop and whirl about, chattering all the while. This evening a whole bunch whizzed over the station platform and over towards the trees just outside. They are extremely quick, so this is a pretty crappy shot, but it's a record of something really beautiful - so it'll do. 8)
