Lions Gate Bridge

A good day if I say so myself. We were both off work, the sun was out and it was warm (well, most of the time).

We heard there had been a pod of Orcas off the shore near Stanley Park the other day so we thought we'd go for a walk around on the off chance they were still there.

The round trip from our apartment, to Stanley Park, around the sea wall, into town and back again is 9.5 miles. We didn't see any Orcas but we did see an otter with a big fish in its mouth about half a foot away from me. The pesky little thing was too quick to photograph.

The chocolate chip brownie ice cream at the end of the walk was worth it.
