Saturday 14 May 2011: Up & Down, Up & Down............

That's the night and day we've had today. Lucinda had a very high temperature late last night and she was shaking quite a lot so we phoned NHS 24 and ended up at St Johns Hospital at 12:30am. It was quiet on the way in and she got checked all over very quickly. Think it's just a bug so we've to monitor her and see how she goes, the nurse didn't seem overly concerned, they must see this all the time. When we got out of our consultation A&E had got busy with drunks. Husband went to get the car and I felt a bit anxious while I waited for him to pull up outside. I had inadvertently sat behind someone who had blood spatter all over his t-shirt and was talking nonsense about the Eurovision Song Contest that he was going to miss because he was in A&E - whatever! We got home and Lucinda slept in with us. She's not been herself though today, up and down. Not wanting to eat much. Feeling grouchy and tired and hot. Hoping we have our baby back to normal tomorrow.
