Sunday 15 May 2011: 12 Apostles
Our day began with kookaburras making a racket some time in the middle of the night (early morning for some of you)
We went on a 45 min hike in the Otways National Park (which is a rain forest) to a waterfall close to where we were staying. It was quite a crazy walk, rain forests are like walking in another world. Unfortunatly though, I didn't get a decent photo of the waterfall as my standard lens is attached to the broken camera which is still at canon, so I only have the telezoom at the moment.
Anyway, our mini road trip (a total of 500km-310 miles for you oldies) ended at the 12 Apostles. I should imagine it looks much better when the sun is shining and sky is blue. It was freezing and so very windy, so safe to say we didn't linger for long.
Here are some parrots we came across when we stopped at a cafe in Lavers Hill.
