Chapel in Solar Dom Carlos

We stayed at the hotel Solar Dom Carlos a 5 minute walk through beautiful old streets to the centre of Cascais.
Whilst not being the most luxurious hotel it does apart from its price have more going for it than more expensive establishments.
It was used as a residence for the last king of Portugal and whilst the family who now run it were renovating the building they came across pictures under the floorboards showing him bull fighting. These now hang on the reception wall in a normal family snap shot sort of way.
The hotel also has its own chapel built over 400 years ago. This again along with the beautiful murals on the dining room wall are just there, no fuss, no big deal they're just there and they are fabulous.
