Thursday 28 April 2011: Daily Routine
For the time we were in Christchurch, P1 (s1's mum) was having IV antibiotics for an infection in her foot
I had been warned before we got there, but it was still a little surreal.
Actually, that reminds me
S1 and I were plesantly surprised by P1
For the first time in many years, she was keeping a strict record of her health
It may sound a little odd,
but living 1/2 a world away, it is sometimes difficult to not be around to help when it's really needed
so there is something amazingly comforting to see P1 helping herself in S1's absence
it makes it just that little bit easier to get on the plane and head home to the UK again
