Gerry's meadow again

There is something about this meadow - it contains a little hill and is just bursting with flowers and insects, and it smells wonderful. This is the image I meant to take yesterday until I was distracted with the butterfly - a perfect little clump of ox eye daisies surrounded by grasses and clover and buttercups. Gerry cuts it once a year and uses it for silage. You can walk through the meadow as a short cut to the sea - perfect. I have cranked the colour up for it seemed to suit it.

The sun is trying to break through and it's very windy. The kids are all giddy with it - and it's full moon.

An early posting today as I shortly have to drive himself into Skibbereen where he's having an eye test involving drops and the puffer thing.
