Home spun, hand woven merino scarf

This is the scarf I made yesterday from one of the first skeins I ever spun. The yarn was fairly inconsistent as it was a first attempt but the variations in colour are far more effective in the finished scarf than I think they would have been if knitted up. There was only 150m of yarn but the scarf is a good length and is lovely and soft now that it has been washed.

I took this photo this morning so I could get the colours in the natural light and it has been so dreich here that nothing more blippable has happened to bump it.
