Three quarter retired sheepdog

This is Sam, he's thirteen years old. He is an old man now and that's what he gets called. It's been a long time since he leapt over stonewalls like they weren't there, now he's quite content to sit in his chair all day long or lounge in the sun on the occasions it appears. Now and then he will have a wander around with Ross the young sheepdog but nothing too strenous as he has a bad leg on which he's just had his third and last operation.
