Monday 16 May 2011: HOW'S YOUR BELLY OFF FOR SPOTS?
I went to a demonstration of belly dancing last night and this lovely lady was the presenter.
We were informed about the history of belly dancing and that it is something that is passed from mother to daughter.
It is, apparently, a really good workout but also extremely good for the pelvic floor muscles!!
By the end of the evening the lady had several members of the audience decked out in sequined skirts and veils and was introducing them into the rudiments of the dance. They performed admirably.
