Tuesday 17 May 2011: The game's up...
445/365: ... and looking rather bedraggled... Maddy is just in the process of being captured by Felix. She put up a good fight, it has to be said. She ran. He chased. She squealed. He squirted. She squealed. He squirted. She squealed...
Actually, come to think of it. She didn't put up a fight at all. She got very wet and did lots of squealing. He did lots of yelling and squirting. Our neighbours must love us!
In the end, he decided she was his prisoner... then promptly gave her the gun and instructed her to squirt water at him. It sure was a confusing game to follow!
So much so, that I got bored of the chasing and squealing... and since I was watering the garden at the time, I felt obliged to soak them both with the hosepipe.
Mummy 1 : Kids 0 :o))
Work was good in parts, weird in others but at least I'm done with traipsing up and down to Sheffield for the rest of the week. Instead, I have to schlep to Greece for lots of work-shaped meetings... so fingers crossed for nice people and interesting chats because when it comes to travelling for work and staying away from my two little people, it's always a pretty big ask.
Not a lot else to say today (again!). Am still worn out from the horrendous commute yesterday and will be headed to bed early as I have a ridiculously early start in the morning. That's where 'ridiculously early' = leaving the house at half past six... which is only 15 mins earlier than normal! Think I may just be in a mood to whinge.
Give me a subject... any subject... and I'll whinge about it...
PS Or squirt it with the garden hose
PPS I may just have discovered my vocation!
