Another visit to the Burrell Collection in Glasgow today, for a third look at the John Thomson China Photographs, to learn a little more about the history of photography. Do go along if you get the chance, it runs until 12 June.

I also got the opportunity to handle this vintage film folding camera, made in England around 1929. The All Distance model had a simple opening mechanism; the lens-plate had to be pulled forward by hand after opening, to one of two focus stops. Further information here.
