What the future holds

Busy from first thing, when the bus let me out at 8am. This is all getting a bit conscientious. And I hardly stopped; though in truth, I do go a bit slow at times.
So, after work there was a swifty with a chum in Teuchters and then home before stepping out for the big planning meeting for the old boys fishing weekend. This involves us fantasising and joking about what food and other delights may be on offer - if we can get it organised. Before long, we discuss our first stop - the Thistle Inn at Westruther where a Jilly Cooper lookalike usually pulls our pints. Our appetites are whetted. Simple creatures, men.
Home to find that Alec has decided to kip the night on his boat in the harbour just for the fun of it. What a fine idea. Night all.
