Wednesday 18 May 2011: Early starts...
446/365: ... but not as early as they might have been.
One cock up with the taxi firm... and I ended up being picked up nearly an hour and a half later than scheduled. Fortunately not my mess, but even so... whoops!
The upside of this is that I managed to see the monkeys before leaving. The downside is that at the time I expected to be sitting around at Gatwick, I'm blipping from the front seat of the taxi and, after horrendous traffic on the motorway and an insanely long diversion... we're at least an hour and a half away from Gatwick... and the flight to Thessaloniki leaves in two hours.
Want to place bets as to whether or not we make the flight?
All will be revealed when I next blip...
(my money is on us missing the flight!)
PS If this were me going on holiday I'd be way more stressed about the whole thing!
PPS But I'm not... so I'm not. :o)
