Wednesday 18 May 2011: Willow Island

This is the view from Willow Island on the River Almond. I was there this morning harvesting some of the willow for a fence I am building in my garden. Apparently it grows vigorously and in no time I'm hoping for a fence to keep the chickens of my patio. Choked with the cold today and now at home enjoying the spectacle of the pro cyclists in the Giro racing through Italy.

I've found myself with an unexpected holiday starting from Monday next week and am at a bit of a loss what to do. Something will come up though.
