Wednesday 18 May 2011: Extreme Eating

Alicia the Italian Archaeologist cooked the most wonderful prawn pasta meal for us tonight.
One of the benefits of working for the Italian Government is their food which they are more than happy not only to share but to teach us how to make, including authentic Italian pizzas made from raw ingredients.

Tonight turned out somewhat different than we had expected. Half way through the meal Thor the hammer-wielding god of thunder dropped by uninvited. If you would like to see how crazy it was check this out and look out for the flying beer can

My good friend Stav (husband of the very talented Clea) can be seen here in hysterics as he watches our very expensive projector screen torn from its mounts.

You may not be able to tell from this photo but a tornado decided to tear through our bar area and destroy everything in its path.

I feel sorry for the poor US Servicemen on camp, who at this very moment are no doubt attempting to prevent their tents being scattered to the four winds.

Lots of cleaning up tommorow
