Cooling down
Unit EC 20:
Even with most systems off, only the energy of the pump, a transformer in zero load and one aircompressor manage to rise the fresh cooling watertemperature to a level that's too high.
So we decided to put the pressure on the hose again to lower the temperature in the buffertanks.
The freshwatersystem is mainly used by the gasturbine which is on standby when problems occur on an other unit (or on the main grid).
Because the rest of the unit is in preservation we have to use this temporary system until a decision is made to buy a more definitive solution.
The (sea)coolingwater is all over the floor and it contains a lot of sand so in a few days you walk through a layer of slippery wet mud....
