CLASSIC

Most would know the sunny 16 rule. F16 @ at around 125sec - when the sun shines.
It doesnt apply though when you're shooting almost directly into the sun and I put up this (sort of) "classic" Spotted shag because my flying shots ended up being silhouettes. I always like to try and get an eye showing but the shag landing shots didnt come up to scratch.

The spotted shags for (those in Christchurch) are at Sumner along the cliffs near Suicide point. The only suicide bit for the photographer is the shags pooing over the side of their roosting area. - and believe me they do !!! big white lots that your mother wont be happy with when you get home !!
