Thursday 19 May 2011: A very odd marigold
I managed to keep some marigolds growing over the winter despite all the snow. However, they have turned out closer to triffids than marigold. On one there are multiple small flowers springing out from a central core. On this one, you can see there are petals outside, but more flowers inside that look as if they will come out. I grew the same variety last year which came out "normal"!
