A macro lens changes your whole perspective of your garden (esp when it's not windy) I sat for ages in one place & watched low on the ground, sometimes brushing my hand over the grass & to my pure delight it was jumping with baby grasshoppers! My first of the year... I've blipped mature grasshoppers before back in September, so to see the new 'wee' ones so young makes me feel positive many mature adults will turn up August/September!
